Students are now working on the people and places of chapter 5. For each person and place assigned, they need to describe and tell why the person or place was important. Please see the instructions PPT for the people and places under documents.
The foldable is coming along and my hopes are that we will be wrapping up the assignment by Friday. We discussed the feudal system in Japan using this PPT. Please see homework column for tonight's assignment.
Students are continuing work on the foldable in class. Periods 1, 4-6 are working on content vocabulary and period 2 is working on feudalism and Buddhism.

We are finishing up our DBQ projects with the final draft of the essay, The culminating essay will be their assessment for chapter 4. Periods 1, 4-6 should be working to finish the essay over the weekend. Period 2 has finished the essay and turned it in. Have a great weekend!
